COVID-19 statewide response efforts

At least 38% of Ohioans have received at least one coronavirus vaccination shot with about 30% returning for a second shot and being fully vaccinated. Although cases have plateaued, virus variants are more contagious among those who have not been vaccinated.

The good news is the vaccine is now more widely available, and there is no shortage. Ohioans can visit gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov to look for open appointments, or call 833-4-ASK-ODH. Toward the end of last week, I saw some local health departments were allowing walk-ins, so I would encourage you to use your social media channels to promote vaccination access.

The state created three new public service announcements that encourage Ohioans to get vaccinated. Click on the links below to view each YouTube video.
