Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits for the month of February will be issued and available on January 16, 2019 for eligible assistance groups. This early issuance applies to all assistance groups that would have normally been included in the State’s February recurring monthly issuance and assistance groups due to recertify or submit an Interim Report in January.

Assistance groups that receive an early issuance will not receive SNAP benefits on their monthly download date in February. Assistance groups that receive this early issuance will not receive SNAP benefits in February if the federal shutdown is resolved. SNAP benefits will be available on their normal availability date in March if the federal shutdown has been resolved.
