The roughly 400-plus customer inquiries that flow daily through the Summit County Department of Job and Family Services’ call center are now handled with more effectively than ever before.

Job and Family Services call center representatives are available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can get answers to your questions about case status, request an application, relay changes in your case and reschedule appointments.

Clients who dial into the call center now receive faster, more personalized service. Incoming calls automatically route to a representative who has the appropriate knowledge to solve client issues. More complicated calls are escalated according to priority and clearance level and then routed appropriately.

In addition, supervisors can view call center metrics, which let them optimize staffing levels, adjusting them accordingly.
