The County of Summit Department of Job and Family Services (CSDJFS) is conducting a Title XX public hearing on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Firestone Triangle Building, Room 382, Akron, Ohio 44301-1256. The hearing will be accessible to the handicapped.
 
Title XX is an amendment to the Social Security Act that encourages an expansion of social services to individuals and families. The hearing will be conducted by a panel of representatives from the County of Summit Department of Job and Family Services, the County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board, and the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board. The Summit County Social Services Advisory Board will be available to listen to citizens' ideas about how Title XX funds should be spent in Summit County during FFY 2018 and 2019 (October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2019).
