Each month, your food stamp benefits will automatically load onto your Ohio Direction card. The card can be used like a debit card at most major grocery and other participating stores for all food and drink except prepared hot foods or to-go meals that will be eaten immediately. The Direction Card cannot be used for non-food items such as alcohol, tobacco, paper products, pet foods, or cleaning supplies.–
